Luke 8:51-53

⁵¹ After He came to the house, He let no one enter with Him except Peter, John, James,^(A) and the child’s father and mother. ⁵² Everyone was crying^(B) and mourning for her.^(C) But He said, “Stop crying, for she is not dead but asleep.”^(D)

⁵³ They started laughing at Him, because they knew she was dead.
